András Dániel

author, illustrator

A unique and creative artist, the funniest and coolest author-illustrator of Hungary, his books have sold over 250 000 copies. The unique visual design of his work matches surreal narratives, but his stories are always easy to digest and touch the deep core of his audience.
He is best known for the Kufli (Grickles) series, which has been made into a series of cartoons and is now a subject for PhD theses in practically any field. According to the author, the main lesson to be learned from Kufli is that it is not worth overthinking things, there is always a solution for everything. Of course, we also learn that sometimes we complicate things by trying to find a solution.
