One evening, just before bedtime, a strange visitor arrives through an open window at the schoolgirl Salvia’s house: it’s a butterfly fairy named Tinea who tells her that she has come in the name of Aldo, Prince of Aveus. He was born in the same minute, of the same hour of the same day as Salvia. The old king refuses to hand over the kingdom to Aldo and has used magic to make time work for him and against his son. He does not age, but his son looks older and older with every passing day. Salvia and Aldo have many dangerous adventures together, but in the end they manage to find the Time Dragon and persuade him to restore the natural flow of time.

A heartfelt, thought-provoking, but at the same time lyrical story of friendship, growing up and fighting against tyranny and an abusive parent. There are references to folktales and mythology interwoven in the story without giving it a didactic feel.

Children's fiction. A novel.
