The Class' Loser

There is serious bullying going on in the class! One of the children has been cruelly humiliated and the pictures, of course, go viral. Too bad that neither the victim nor the bully can be identified. Almost all the children in the class have suffered enough to be perfect victims.

Bullying is not just about the victim and the bully. What is the role of the witnesses? Every chapter is narrated by a different member of the class, and it’s not clear who the bully or the victim is – until the very end. Through this sensitive account of the way bullying occurs the reader understands not only the unbearably fragile positions of unstable teenagers who pretend to be cool but have their own fears and anxieties. The Class’ Looser has become part of the syllabus in several Hungarian schools.
